La mise en ligne de la Carte géologique de Wallonie a été présentée à l'occasion du 4th european Congress on "Regional geoscientific cartography and information systems geoscientific : Information for spatial planning" qui s'est tenu du 17 au 20 juin 2003 à Bologne (Italie).

Céline Vanneste, Laurent Barchy, Pierre Ghysel et Patrick Engels y ont effectué une présentation orale intitulée : "New geological map of Wallonia... Now online. Integration with other mapping projects of the Walloon Region Ministry".
